Lindsay Quinn has spent more than 22 years inside orthodontic practices, and what she noticed before most people were paying attention was this: the practices that struggled weren't struggling because of clinical skill. They were struggling because of systems.
That observation has driven everything she's built since founding Heartwise Collective. Lindsay is the creator of the AI Practice Advantage program — one of the first structured AI implementation frameworks designed specifically for orthodontic teams — and she co-leads The Ortho Society. Both exist because she saw gaps in how the industry was supporting its leaders, and she built the thing that was missing.
She started in orthodontics in 2006 at Dr. Richard McLaughlin's office in San Diego and spent nearly seven years at Hummingbird Associates with Karen Moawad. That ground-level experience gave her an understanding of how practices actually run — not just how they're supposed to run.
Her consulting work spans the full operational picture: practice growth and efficiencies, new patient systems, financial and insurance systems, team structure, workflow design, leadership, and AI integration. She doesn't believe in handing over a report and walking away.
